I joined the company in September 2022 as a HR Business Partner, bringing with me 20+ years of HR experience, primarily within the dairy and logistics industries. Throughout my career, I have been involved in numerous organisational design and change management projects. I was keen to gain experience in manufacturing, and Numatic International’s strong reputation made it an ideal choice. Relocating from Glasgow to join such an iconic, British brand was an exciting opportunity. I was drawn to the company’s commitment to innovation, its connection with employees, its strong ties to the local community, and of course, Henry’s friendly face!

I began my career in Human Resources in 2021 as an HR Apprentice. I successfully completed my Level 3 CIPD qualification and progressed into my current role as an HR Administrator. I enjoy the supportive and collaborative work environment. I am looking forward to continuing my development and learning more as I grow within the HR profession. Numatic is a great place to work and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a long term career.

I joined full‑time as a Graduate Designer in September 2022 and became a Designer the following year. Since 2024, I’ve also managed some of our R&D placements. I’ve always loved design, and the breadth of capabilities we have on site thanks to UK manufacturing is unmatched. I’m proud to contribute to that as a Designer.

Sales
I began my professional journey in 2024 through a graduate program, initially working in sales with the goal of becoming a retail account manager. My career so far has been both diverse and rewarding—starting in the Customer Engagement Centre (CEC), moving into business development, and now thriving within the retail team.

Studio Production Coordinator
I started my apprenticeship at Numatic in 2024 in the studio/marketing department. The studio is an exciting place to work, offering variety and creativity in every task and brings something new every week. Since completing my apprenticeship to have now got myself the permanent position of Studio Production Coordinator
Georgie Stewart
IT&DS
I joined the company in October 2020 as a Factory Operative in the Vac B Operations team. In 2021, I was offered a 6-month secondment in Sales Operations, which led to a permanent role within the Sales department. As of April 2025, I’ve transitioned into my current position as a Junior Service Desk Analyst in the IT & Digital Services (IT&DS) team.
Nathan Bandy
Production Manager
Throughout Nathan’s 21‑year career with Numatic, he has been a key part of the production side of the business, continuously progressing through various roles. Most recently, Nathan has been promoted from Section Manager for the Henry Line to Deputy Production Manager, now overseeing the entire production area.

Marketing Office & Internal Communications Manager
I began my journey with Numatic 24 years ago, starting out as a part-time cleaner at the age of 21. At the time, this role allowed me to balance work with caring for my young children. Over time, I progressed to Team Leader and then to Supervisor within the department.
After eight years, as my children grew older and more independent, I decided it was time for a change. I transitioned into an office-based role within the Marketing team — a completely new direction for my career. Over the past 14 years, I’ve continued to grow in this area of the business, both professionally and personally. My dedication and development were recognised when I was offered the position of Office Manager eight years ago.
With ongoing support from my team and colleagues across the business, my confidence has grown tremendously. In 2024, I stepped into an expanded role as Marketing Office & Internal Communications Manager. This position truly feels like the perfect fit for me. I’m passionate about working with people, and this role allows me to engage with teams across the entire organisation.
My work is both fulfilling and fast-paced, and even after 24 years, I can honestly say I still love coming to work every day and doing what I enjoy.
